Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Community Brands employees have access to Medical, Limited Purpose and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts. WEX is the the administrator for all Flexible Spending Accounts.
With a Medical FSA in 2024, you can set aside up to $3,200 pre-tax to pay for qualified medical, dental and vision expenses. You can even roll over up to $610 in unused FSA funds to the next plan year! And you can access your FSA funds at the point of sale using your debit card supplied by WEX.
A Limited Purpose FSA can be paired with a Consumer Directed Health Plan and HSA, like Medical Option 3. It works just like a Medical FSA except that funds can only be used for qualified dental and vision expenses.
The Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) is a pre-tax account used to pay for dependent care services such as before or after school programs and child or elder daycare. With the DCFSA, you can contribute up to $5,000 each year – pre-tax – to pay for the care of children up to age 13 or adult elder care.
